RESIDENCIES

Since 2023, our festival has been proud to host artistic residencies designed to nurture and empower the next generation of musicians. These residencies support emerging artists at pivotal stages in their creative journeys, offering time, space, and resources to explore new ideas.

Each year, selected artists-in-residence collaborate with local artists and communities, developing fresh projects that take shape during the festival itself. With a special focus on wind instruments, the residencies highlight the versatility and expressive power of these voices, encouraging experimentation across genres, traditions, and artistic practices.

In 2023 and 2024 Windcraft Music Fest was proud to receive the EFFEA (European Fund for Emerging Artists) grant for hosting the artistic residencies “Bridging the sounds of the East and the West” and “The Fellowship of Aeolus“.
