An exciting international line-up brings together an eclectic spectrum of sounds, with each day culminating in a standout musical experience—whether it’s a dance party with an authentic Balkan brass band, a vibrant folk celebration, or a funky mega jam that sets the stage on fire.
Expect a rich interplay of styles: jazz interwoven with classical and world traditions, contemporary music infused with folk influences, and acoustic textures merging seamlessly with electronic elements.
Let yourself be carried by ethereal saxophone tones, mesmerizing trumpet sounds, overtone singing and haunting chants colliding with hard techno and raw noise. Experience acoustic sounds layered over electronic beats and experimental soundscapes, enhanced by visual elements. From lively swing rhythms guiding your steps to grooves and brass melodies inspired by musical traditions from around the world, the festival invites you to the dancefloor.
As the sun sets, music will fill the air — and as night falls, jam sessions will keep the energy alive well into the late hours…and that's not all!
Get Involved!
Windcraft Music Fest invites you not only to listen, but to participate.
Take part in a three-day seminar for wind players, exploring total tuning and culminating in a performance and a lively music parade. Join workshops on Balkan music, Italian tarantella, and jazz improvisation, or discover how to craft a traditional pithkiavli flute in a hands-on session.
Engage with a collective performance inspired by the sounds of water, or explore the science corner, where an interactive installation will allow you to shape sound through laser imagery. Join discussions on the role of the arts in society, and dive into creative practices such as cyanography, cocoon crafts, and recycled paper-making.
For those wishing to explore the village and connect with its people and their stories: discover the site-specific exhibition “Listen to the Fountains”, experience the immersive installation “Stone Pulse”, or take part in the scavenger hunt “Why, bird, won’t you sing?”
And, of course, you can always slow down—relax with a refreshing drink, enjoy delicious local flavours, and take in the unique atmosphere of the festival.
Mark your calendars for 24-26 July, and get ready for an unforgettable weekend at Windcraft Music Fest!
